He has also taught in other universities for several years and authored a series of books for secondary schools and university level mathematics.

Surindar Mohan Uppal, M A, Ph D, EBS, is the seniormost Professor at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Nairobi, Kenya. He has taught Mathematics at graduate and postgraduate level for many years and authored many Mathematics books. He was made Ambassador for Peace by Universal Peace Federation, an NGO funded by UN three years back. He has authored many papers in revered journals and was Chairman of the Editorial Board of a prestigious International Research Journal. He is one of the most experienced and versatile teachers of Mathematics in Kenya. He had been Head, Department of Mathematics for six years, Director Board of postgraduate studies for four years and member of the Senate for ten years. In recognition of his outstanding and distinguished services to the cause of education in Kenya, His Excellency, the President Mwai Kibaki conferred him the award and honor of EBS, one of the high ranking awards in Kenya.

Romanus Otieno Odhiambo, B Ed, M Sc, EMOD, PhD, is a Professor of Statistics in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Nairobi, Kenya. He is currently the Deputy ViceChancellor, Incharge of academic affairs. He has supervised many Masters and PhD students in the areas of Statistics and Applied Statistics. He has also authored many papers in revered journals.

George Otieno Orwa, B Sc, M Sc, M A, PhD, is the Head, Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Nairobi, Kenya. He teaches Statistics and related areas to both graduate and postgraduate students. Till now he has authored 9 papers in revered journals and continues to participate in research very actively. He has supervised several M Sc and PhD students.
