See photos for condition details. Hardcover brown cloth boards with black design on front, black and gilt on spine. Exterior shows minor spotting and soiling corners and edges show minor bumps. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight. No hinge issues, no bookplates, no library markings. The front end page has a small chip at the bottom and the second end page has a name and a 1885 date written in pencil, no other handwriting found in the book. Pages are toned due to age and there is some very light foxing/spotting present. Title page states forty-seventh thousand.

The store first opened in Maryland in 1966 under the name The Collector's Corner, which mainly dealt in older books, stamps and assorted ephemera. In 1975 the name was changed to Yesterday's Book Shop when the main focus became only books and printed matter.
