The Problem with Management - And how to Solve It, is a collection of stories about workforce Engagement. What is Engagement, the effect it has, stories of what happens and how much it is worth when the workforce are allowed to Engage, what managers do that prevent Engagement from happening, what happened to allow different workforces to Engage, what it meant to them and what it meant to the organisations they were a part of. Subtitled "The Engagement Handbook" because without any agenda or vested interest the readers can discover for themselves, through these stories, almost any aspect of Engagement, what the benefits are and how to get them, what happens when we don't allow the workforce to Engage and the consequences of disengagement.
