Das Buch eignet sich zu Informatik-Grundkursen f�r Natur-und Geistes� wissenschaftler, aber auch zur Informatik-Nebenfachausbildung allgemein sowie, je nach Studienplan, auch f�r Informatik-I-Vorlesungen. Dar�ber hin� aus ist es auch zu einem Selbststudium von Informatik-Grundkenntnissen ge� eignet; hierzu dienen unter anderem auch die aufgef�hrten �bungen und ihre im Anhang vorgestellten L�sungen. Es mu� jedoch entsprechend dem Cha� rakter der Informatik ein gewisses mathematisches R�stzeug mitgebracht werden oder doch zumindest die Bereitschaft, sich dieses anzueignen.
