The Friends & Foundation's primary goals are to raise private and public funds to help ensure the library's financial security, to enable the highest level of library service to the community in the 21st Century, and to help build broad public support for the library�s programs. Contributions augment public support and are used to expand library collections, programs and services; to support capital improvements of library facilities; and to support professional resources, services and staff. Funds are also raised to demonstrate the viability of innovative projects for which public funds may subsequently be budgeted.
