Proceedings of the Conference on Photo-Responsive Materials

The Conference on Photo–Responsive Materials took place 25–29 February 2004 at Kariega Game Reserve, South Africa. It was focused primarily on III–nitrides (GaN, AlGaN, InGaN), SiC, ZnO and other wide gap materials, chalcopyrites such as CuInSe2 for photovoltaic applications, and novel photoresponsive materials including polymers. Materials–related issues within the scope of the conference were crystal growth and epitaxy, characterisation (photoluminescence, DLTS, IR spectroscopy), defect–related studies, processing, and opto–electronic devices (modelling and novel structures).
