A scarce selection of minutes recorded in the House of Commons regarding a variety of issues and bills that were discussed on that particular day. Containing very detailed account of who was present and what exactly was said by whom. The text has in certain places been corrected in pen, such as with names. This selection is from June 1885 and includes details of the Lower Thames Valley Main Sewerage Bill. In a half calf binding with cloth boards. Externally, there is wear to extremities and the front joint is cracking slightly causing the backstrip to lift slightly. There is a library mark to the tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound, with offsetting to pastedowns and endpapers but otherwise bright and clean. There is an institutional bookplate to the front pastedown. There is also an inkstamp to one page near the front. Good.
