A prior owner's ink stamp on the top edge of the book and on the first (blank) page, as well as a tide line affecting the bottom free corners of hard cover and (if very lightly) the pages; internally stapled binding is secure; black cloth backstrip shows some softening at spine ends and a homemade title label taped to the upper half; boards show a few small spots along with the clear liquid stains, as well as hard scuffs at corners; nonetheless sound. x, 161pp; b/w illus. Topics addressed include classification of Iowa butterflies, dolomites and eskers, longitudinal division of hydra, the diphtheria epidemic of 1912-13, lichen, sulfofication in soils, Monona county flora, fossilized tree ferns, and more.

Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 1 business day. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. We ship via US Postal Service and can insure upon request (insurance is free on items over $200). All shipments are protected from water, padded, reinforced if potentially bendable, and boxed if fragile or over $50 in value (otherwise, a bubble mailer may be used).
