About the Authors
R. Kesavan is an Indian academic and author in the field of Mechanical and Production Engineering, best known for co‑authoring textbooks such as Process Planning and Cost Estimation and Machine Tools. He is a senior faculty member at Anna University (MIT Campus, Chennai) and has contributed extensively to engineering education and research.
C. Elanchezhian is an Indian engineering academic and author known for his contributions to Mechanical Engineering, particularly in Production Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, and Process Planning & Cost Estimation. He is widely recognized for co‑authoring several popular engineering textbooks used across Indian universities.
Dr. B. Vijaya Ramnath is the Professor & Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai. He has been part of the institution since 2000 and has over 25 years of teaching experience. He is recognized internationally, having been featured in Stanford University’s list of the Top 2% Scientists in the World (2021–2025).
