Additional exercises are available, as are other supplementary materials for instructors looking to introduce even more computer science concepts associated with the topics. Several online chapters are also provided that introduce slightly more advanced topics in Processing, such as two-dimensional arrays, manipulation of strings, and file input and output. The conversational style and pace of the book are based upon the authors’ extensive experience with teaching programming to a wide variety of beginners in a classroom. No prior programming experience is expected.
