About the Author

Deborah Burnside is a Christian author, wife, mother, and grandmother. She creates her novels, short stories, and poetry in a little cabin in the mountains of Shasta County, California. When not writing, she spends much of her time rescuing four-legged furry things - primarily cats, but occasionally dogs as well. She and her husband Patrick currently have five cats of their own, but that number is subject to change at any given time. Prodigal Hearts is her first novel, and was a third-place winner of the Xulon Press Christian Author Awards.
