The book Production, Protection and Postharvest Technology of Tropical and Subtropical Vegetables is written as per the syllabus of B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture recommended by the Fifth Deans Committee of ICAR. It covers the entire syllabus with Production Technology. The entire book is covering production technology of 33 crops. Each crop is dealt under choice of cultivars, climate and soil requirements, sowing time, seed rate, nursery practices, preparation of field, transplanting, spacing, nutrient management, water and weed management, use of chemicals and growth regulators, other intercultural practices, crop protection, physiological disorders, harvesting, yield, post-harvest handling, and marketing.
