Prof. Birgit Piechulla ist Professorin f�r Biochemie an der Universit�t Rostock. Sie ist Co-Autorin des von Prof. Heldt begr�ndeten Buches "Pflanzenbiochemie". Ihr Mann ist Professor f�r Mikrobiologie und ebenfalls an der Universit�t Rostock. Sie haben drei Kinder.
