Profile In The Shadows: Book Two of the Homeless Man's Killer series

BOOK DESCRIPTION:

Non-fiction. The scene starts in Canada forty years ago. An agitated animal warns of danger. The events leave us to wonder, "What is he up to?" Years later there are hints of an intruder. The distant memory, a ghost of the past, finds its way to haunt.

Jerry is reported missing by his son. The first 48 hours after a disappearance are critical, and Jerry has been missing since 2015. Lawrence is reported missing, and a friend has a hunch that the disappearance of both men is interrelated.

The events that occurred up to this point are reviewed and examined in a new light. Sights, sounds, and smells hit the senses in vivid color. These scenes show information coming from the perpetrator and the police. But neither paints a full picture until the end. Financial crimes and hoaxes play a role, almost as often as a person goes missing.

The serial killer weaves in and out of each story as a profile in the shadows, and clues show he was stalking all along. The mysteries interconnect and end with the final capture. Now that we know what he is up to, who was the real River Man?

This is true crime written in a mystery genre tone. The novel has the distinction of assisting both United States and Canadian authorities in the prosecution of North America's most prolific serial killer. The United States is done for now with the murder prosecutions. The convictions in Canada are underway. So far, the Homeless Man's Killer has confessed to the murders. His motive to be a household name. When the prosecutions in Canada and the US are complete, he may have more verified murder convictions than The Beast, making him the most prolific serial killer internationally.

The unusual part is his other crimes. The financial fraud, hoaxes, cons, and staging murders to portray his victims in a slanderous light. Those crimes are the main focus of this book. In light versus dark, the novel shows the power of prayer.
