3 leaves. 8.5x11 in. Very Good. In his speech, Alfange strongly condemns the Axis powers and calls on regular people to join the fight against them, promising a lasting and prosperous post-war peace in which dictators have all been done away with. Expresses strong anticommunist beliefs. Alfange was a legal commentator and advocate of judicial pragmatism, and here argues that free speech by ?hate-mongers, saboteurs and Axis agents? will ?destroy the Constitution.? Further calls for global aid to opponents of Axis, foreshadowing US foreign policy during the Cold War.
