Program. Measuring 8½" x 5½. Folded card opening at the topedge. Light bumping at the corners, near fine. A card issued to accompany an exhibition of Tiberino's work hosted by the Afro-American Historical Museum in Philadelphia. It includes a forward by museum director, Adolphus Ealey; a brief biography of Tiberino life; and a list of her drawings and painting on display. Tiberino was born in Philadelphia and attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Her most controversial work was a collaborated with her husband on a sculpture depicting their interpretation of the notorious MOVE bombing in 1985. Tiberino died at the age of 54 after a 14-year battle with cancer that inform much her her later years.
