Softcover; 8-page stapled wraps. A program for a play put on in Germany by the First U. S. Engineers shortly after the close of World War 1. No date listed, but circa late 1918, or 1919. Includes the details of the play, a couple of B&W photos, and a one-page summary of First Division activities in the war. Covers are age-toned, with some soil. A couple short tears at the edges. Some thumb-creases to the covers & pages. Previous owners name inked at the top edge of the spine. The owners has added a caption in ink under the photo on the rear cover, reading: "They sure look like women but there all men". Inked note on the First Division action page, reading: "Those with the cross on them were the worst but I was in them all". Foxed spot in the top margin of the last two pages. Else pages quite age toned, but clean. ; 27B; 8-1/4" x 6".
