About the Author

Professor Dr. Sebastian D�rn ist seit 2011 Professor f�r Mathematik und Informatik am Hochschulcampus Tuttlingen der Hochschule Furtwangen. Er studierte Angewandte Mathematik an der Hochschule Mittweida und der Bergakademie Freiberg, seine Promotion hat er an der Universit�t Ulm am Institut f�r Theoretische Informatik �ber das Thema Quantenalgorithmen erworben. Danach war er mehrere Jahre als Entwicklungsingenieur im Bereich der Simulation, Optimierung und Modellentwicklung in der Halbleitertechnik bei der Firma Carl Zeiss SMT GmbH besch�ftigt. Sebastian D�rn besitzt mehr als 10 Jahre Erfahrung in der Analyse, Entwicklung und praktischen Umsetzung von algorithmischen Verfahren auf den verschiedensten technischen oder naturwissenschaftlichen Gebieten.
