39 Progressive Solos for Classical Guitar: Book 1 (Thirty-Nine Progressive Solos for Classical Guitar)

This classical guitar collection brings together 39 progressive solos by various composers from the Baroque and Classical repertoire, arranged by Ben Bolt for guitar with standard notation and tablature. Created for guitarists building technique and musicality through solo repertoire, it offers a structured selection of well-known pieces and studies that remain approachable, rewarding, and musically satisfying to practice.

Each piece is presented in both standard notation and guitar tablature, making the music accessible for a wide range of learners. The book also includes online audio accessed with the unique code printed inside, allowing players to hear the pieces and refine phrasing, timing, and interpretation while working through the repertoire.

This collection supports consistent progress by blending technical studies with musically satisfying repertoire. Players can deepen finger independence, tone control, and stylistic awareness while engaging with works by composers such as Bach, Giuliani, Carcassi, and Aguado. The inclusion of recognizable melodies alongside traditional études helps keep practice varied and motivating.
