Item description from seller

See photos for condition details. Hardcover, light brown cloth boards show handling wear, mainly scuffing and spotting. Edges and corners also bumped and show some wear. The internal binding is good at the boards and text pages are tight for the most part but there is a crack starting at page 226/227. The only handwriting found in the book is at the top of the title page which contains the original owner's signature. The original owner, John Nicodemus, was a doctor from Walkersville , MD and was very active in the prohibition politics of the time.
