Project Slayer

Arizona Rain has spent her entire life inside an institution that turns orphaned children into weapons.

Engineered, trained, and deployed as its most capable Slayer, Rain was taught one absolute rule: monsters are targets, and targets are eliminated. Then a mission forces her to see the person behind the label—and she refuses to kill.

The institution answers disobedience with execution.

Betrayed by someone she trusts and abandoned on an Arizona highway, Rain survives. But the obedient weapon the institution created does not. Minato, her longtime guardian and partner, must now choose between the organization that raised him and the woman who became his family.

Across the world, eight young Slayer trainees arrive at a remote Romanian village where every operative sent before them has disappeared. What they discover in the surrounding hills challenges everything they have been taught about the creatures they hunt and about the people who trained them to hunt.

Project Slayer: Book One is a dark, character-driven supernatural thriller about chosen family, institutional control, and the moral cost of following orders without question.
