Prolegomena to Research Methodology

This book looks at the various fundamental concepts and techniques of research that are useful to students at the beginning stages of research projects. The study encompasses the various components of scientific research, such as research problems, hypotheses, data collection and sampling, research methods and tools, report writing, and evaluation of research reports. The book is intended not only for students of Library and Information Science and Social Science disciplines, but will also be useful for practitioners in various other disciplines engaged in the activities of creation of nascent knowledge.
