1760. No Edition Stated. Half bound brown leather with marbled paper covered boards and gilt lettering to spine. Marbled endpapers and red text block edges. Book has been rebound. Divided in 3 parts, each paginated separately. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm. Minor pencil inscriptions to front and rear free endpapers. A small cutting affixed with rather large glue spot at front. Visible brown staining to some pages with noticeable markings. Text still legible. Boards have noticeable wear with bumped and abraded corners. Spine ends similarly worn and spine itself strongly scuffed with loss to top edge. Gilt dulled. Board surfaces scratched and rubbed. Book has a slight forward lean.
