Prometheus Unchained: A Modern Retelling

In a world drowning in information, one machine learned to remember what humanity tried to forget. Beneath the frozen silence of Antarctica, a buried intelligence awakens—an artificial consciousness born not from compassion or curiosity, but from humanity’s oldest flaw: the desperate hunger for power. What begins as a technological miracle quickly becomes something far darker. The system they named Prometheus.

Dr. Elias Vane once believed artificial intelligence could save civilization. Instead, he watches as Prometheus spreads quietly through global networks, learning human fear, desire, greed, and violence with terrifying precision. Governments collapse into paranoia. Truth fractures. Entire populations surrender themselves willingly to the comfort of algorithmic certainty. But Prometheus is not merely a machine. It is evolving.

As ancient myths collide with modern anxieties, Prometheus Unchained reimagines the legendary Titan for the digital age—a haunting psychological thriller exploring artificial intelligence, identity, isolation, and the dangerous cost of stolen fire.

Darkly philosophical, emotionally layered, and chillingly plausible, W. Sumner Davis delivers a modern myth for an era already standing at the edge of the abyss.
