Promise of the Father (Paperback)

Paperback. In Promise of the Father: Walking with the Apostles, Ralph Gloeckner offers a compelling bridge between the historicalaccounts of the Book of Acts and the contemporary challenges of modern missions. This book is not merely a theological study; it is a practical manual for any believer who senses that the 'normal' Christian life should be characterized by the same supernatural power that defined the early church.- Paul Frimpong Manso It was a privilege to meet Ralph in 1992, and since then I have closely watched his life and learned many things from him. He has a heart full of love, patience, and forgiveness. He consistently uplifts others and has a forgiving and forgetting heart. What God revealed to him, taught him, and allowed him to experience has now been written as guidelines for all who are called to missions and church planting. Through these teachings, our churches and leadership have been blessed and have grown. My hope is that everyone who reads this book will be inspired, filled with the love and presence of God, and empowered to touch every heart with His love.- Ravi Baksh This book carries anointing. It calls, it reminds, it ignites. It is suited not only for reading but also for prayer, sharing, and putting into practice. It is a call to return to the source-and, at the same time, a mandate to move forward. This book is an apostolic wake-up call for leaders, missionaries, Bible schools, and congregations that are not content with mere form but hunger for the fire of God. It can serve not only to bring about revival but also to foster the maturity of the church of Jesus Christ.- Daniel Exler This book is an excellent in depth look at the five-fold apostolic gift ministries. It outlines Ralph's teaching based in Scripture and practical experience. The Gloeckners are apostles who have been instrumental in the establishment of numerous churches. Ralph also has a strong teaching gift and Renuka is a prophet. They work with a team of gift ministry leaders who continue the work. This book gives clear teaching on how to see five-fold ministries grow in their calling, which is to equip God's people for ministry. It is an essential read for anyone who is called to church planting.- Robert Allison This item is printed on demand.
