Le Petit Chaperon rouge part faire des courses pour sa grand-mère. En chemin, elle rencontre une foule de personnages de contes, plutôt drôles, décalés, voire inquiétants. Le Petit Poucet, la Belle au bois dormant, le Chat botté, Peau d'âne, tous semblent perdus, comme dépaysés... Mais Perrault revient d'outre-tombe pour tenter de canaliser ses personnages et de les remettre sur les rails de leur histoire. C'est sans compter le caractère effronté du Chaperon rouge qui séduit ses nouveaux camarades.
Personnages : 9 (Chaperon rouge, la mère, Loulou-la-bécane, Belle au bois dormant, Chat botté, Perrault, Peau d'âne, Petit Poucet, la grand-mère, le grande frère de Poucet.
Durée moyenne de la pièce : 40 minutes

About the Author
Professeur honoraire de lettres modernes en collège, Suzanne Rominger est née à Labaroche, un petit village à califourchon entre la plaine d'Alsace et les Vosges. Son père, René Prud'homme (1901-1958), lui donne très tôt l'amour du théâtre et de l'écriture. En effet, à la Libération, il devient maire du village et crée au sein de la fanfare qu'il dirige, une petite troupe de théâtre ; il rédige lui-même la plupart des pièces jouées et fait même monter sa fille sur scène dès ses sept ans !
Très attachée à ses origines, elle s'est également beaucoup intéressée au "patois" de la région, un parler roman (totalement différent du dialecte alsacien), au point d'en faire, plus tard, le sujet de son Mémoire de Maîtrise de Lettres Modernes. Normalienne, institutrice, puis P.E.G.C. de lettres-anglais dans deux petits collèges ruraux, elle poursuit conjointement des études de lettres à l'Université de Strasbourg. En 1969, elle est nommée au nouveau collège expérimental Berlioz de Colmar.
La souplesse du travail en "Groupes de Niveaux" puis en "Modules" (un grand collège divisé en petits groupes de quatre à six classes dont les professeurs valorisent particulièrement "l'interdisciplinarité") lui permet d'introduire tout naturellement le théâtre dans son enseignement. Ces expériences seront malheureusement abandonnées après quelques années d'excellents résultats " faute de moyens".
Mais Suzanne Rominger continuera d'animer des ateliers de théâtre et de pratiquer, lorsque la chose est possible, "l'enseignement du français par le théâtre". Elle profite aujourd'hui de sa retraite pour se consacrer à l'écriture (théâtre, souvenirs de jeunesse, nouvelles, histoires de bêtes...).
