Prompt Book for 1853 Play "Follies of a Night A Vaudeville Comedy, in Two Acts" at Theatre Boulogne Correctly Printed from the Prompt Book, with Exits, Entrances, & c.; First Performed at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, on Wednesday, October 5, 1842, J.R. Planche, S.G. Fairbrother, Covent Gardens, London, 1842. 6 3/8 x 4 1/8 inches, 48pp. Plain brown wrapper with soiling and wear. "Follies of a Night" and "T. Rogerson" are handwritten on the cover. Interior mostly clean with holograph annotations for the part of Doctor Druggendraft which was played by T. Rogerson at the Theatre Boulogne in 1853 as per related ephemera in the prompt book. Playbill tipped in to verso of title page with tab covering small portion of title page. Good condition. Holograph annotations are likely in the hand of T. Rogerson including cues, cuts, or performance notes. From a Wikipedia entry: "James Robinson Planché (1796 - 1880) was a British dramatist, antiquary and officer of arms.
