Hardcover with no DJ. Brown cloth over boards with gold lettering on spine. Title page dated 1823. No evident copyright page. 609 pages with an additional 100 pages of A Key to Classical Pronunciations of Greek, Latin, and Scripture Proper Names etc. Boards and spine are worn with cloth covering chipped around edges. Gold lettering on red plate attached to spine is still shiny and legible. Boards also faded but still securely in place. Fore edges toned. Significant toning on front and rear endpapers. More toning on pages but text remains clear and legible. Text printed in columns of two per page showing definitions and pronunciations. Binding still strong and secure. Very Good condition.
