Synopsis:
Propers for the weekdays of Lent; Collect, Psalm and two lessons for every day after Ash Wednesday. This edition has Propers for all the weekdays following the Second Sunday of Easter. The purpose of the revision to the Collects for the Lesser Feasts was to ensure that each Collect be distinctive of the person commemorated, or of that aspect of the Church's life to which that person contributed most significantly. For the convenience of having all fixed Holy Days in the same book, and because some are not aware of the significance of the Major Holy Days, a brief note on each of these Major Feasts has been included.
