An incredibly scarce set of three theological titles, primarily for use for the Church of England.Each volume bound in full black calf, with gilt decoration to boards and to each spines.In full leather calf, with handle and metal latch.With original book ribbons, and full gilt page edges. Bound in original full calf. Externally, very smart. Grazes to vol1 gilt page edges. Small closed tears to vol1 head and tail. Mild rubbing to spines. Mild age toning to endpapers. Bookseller sticker to front paste downs. Leather slipcase stiff. Rubbing to slipcase strap and extremities. Closed tear to lid joint. Small loss to leather to rear. The odd scuff to slipcase. Slight starting to vol2 front hinge, but firm. Small closed tear to vol2 tail. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean. Very Good Indeed.
