Prophecy and History: With the Reference to the Jews, the Gentiles, and the Church of God

Prophecy and History
With Reference to the Jews, the Gentiles, and the Church of God

By W. Graham Scroggie

Where does our chaotic modern history fit into the eternal timeline of God’s Word?

In days marked by monumental global events, the human heart naturally searches for clarity. We look at shifting geopolitical landscapes, rising tensions, and cultural upheaval, wondering where it all leads. In Prophecy and History, renowned theologian and master Bible expositor Dr. W. Graham Scroggie delivers a calm, balanced, and deeply scriptural survey of God's unfolding plan for humanity.

Rather than offering sensationalized or speculative theories, Scroggie guides readers through a meticulous examination of the three distinct groups outlined in Scripture: the Jews, the Gentiles, and the Church of God. By tracing the persistent, unbroken thread of divine history from the beginning to its prophetic fulfillment, he reveals how God’s unchanging will remains completely in control.

Key Themes Explored Inside:

• The Threefold Divine Division: A clear dispensational overview of how God interacts distinctly and purposefully with Israel (the Jews), the nations (the Gentiles), and the Body of Christ (the Church).

• History as Unfolding Purpose: How past biblical events reveal a persistent divine master plan that moves toward a definitive conclusion.

• The Triumph of Unfulfilled Prophecy: A grounded look at future events that guarantees the ultimate victory of God’s kingdom over all earthly powers.

• The Imminent Return of Christ: How the blessed hope of the Lord’s appearing serves as the necessary, beautiful completion of the circle of Grace.

Why This Classic Work is Irreplaceable:

For pastors, students of eschatology (the study of end times), and everyday believers looking for anchor points in confusing times, Scroggie’s insights provide a rock-solid, comprehensive perspective. He strips away theological panic and academic jargon to deliver a clear message of hope and structural clarity.

Prophecy and History proves that the secure peace of God’s people doesn't come from tracking the daily news, but from resting in the absolute trustworthiness of Revelation.

"Its history unfolds the persistent purpose which was from the beginning; and its prophecy, both in its fulfilled and yet unfulfilled aspects, declares the ultimate triumph of that purpose..."
