As in earlier editions, this book discusses funding from government, foundation, and corporate sponsors. Included are practical advice and examples on developing proposal ideas, identifying funding sources, creating systems and procedures to support grantseeking activities, developing proposal components, budget forecasting, submission procedures, and follow-up techniques.

Jeremy T. Miner is Director of Sponsored Programs and Director of Development for Strategic Initiatives at St. Norbert College. In addition to developing and administering proposals to public and private grantmakers as well as individual philanthropists, he has served as a reviewer for federal grant programs and helped private foundations streamline their grant application guidelines.
