Protect & Defend (Jacob St. Christopher Action & Adventure)

Perfect for those who love thrillers with a good and decent main character - noble friends - action - clean language - no graphic sex - a little romance - and an undertone of faith from a Christian worldview.

A former Army Ranger must protect a teenage girl scheduled to testify against a Mafioso.

Homeless, 16-year-old Amanda Applegate got involved. She doesn't exactly know how, but that doesn't matter to the Mafia. They want her dead.

Ex-military man Jacob St. Christopher has his own problems. But staring at Amanda's photo, noticing her resemblance to someone dear to him, St. Christopher once again feels the call to service.

But if he intends to save Amanda from a powerful organized crime syndicate, he'll need to do more than just draw upon his combat skills. He'll also need to defeat his inner demons.

Action-packed, clean-language ex-military thriller where evil people prey upon the weak, and where one man, once again called to serve, stands ready to step into the breach to protect and defend.

- Book #1 in the Jacob St. Christopher series of Action Thrillers -

A big-time fan of thrillers (books and movies) for over 40 years, Alex Ander writes globe-trekking action thrillers packed with fistfights, gunfights, and heart-pounding excitement and adventure...all with clean language, no graphic sex, and an undertone of faith from a Christian worldview.

Alex has written more than 30 books in the military/law enforcement genre. And as an avid gun enthusiast, he cringes right along with you when a magazine is called a "clip." That's why you can always trust him to get the firearm terminology correct.

Currently, Alex has produced five different series with main characters from the U.S. Marines, Army Rangers, FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, and the CIA's Special Operations Group. And a possible sixth series is in the works featuring an ex-military man putting his deadly skills to use as a private contractor helping others.

Living in Michigan with his wife, Alex spends some of his spare time painting landscapes, playing the harmonica, reading books, and watching action thrillers.
