It examines constitutional ethos and judicial yeoman service towards harmonising municipal law with International law. The work is divided into seven chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the subject. Chapter 2 contains international and regional implementation of human rights incorporating universalization of human rights and doctrine of incorporation in domestic jurisprudence. One of the chapters is devoted to the role played by the National Human Rights Commission of India in enriching Human Rights Jurisprudence. Chapter VI is comprehensive contains Catena of Judicial decisions through which various principles contained in UDHR ICCPR ICESCR CEDAW and other international instruments have been applied by the Indian judiciary to protect the human rights of children women workers and vulnerable groups of society awarding compensation to the victims of custodial violence and developing environmental jurisprudence.
