Protestant Pulse: Heart Hopes for God

Leaving room for doubt and mystery, this book addresses the question of whether or not God exists. The author draws upon life-long personal experiences and her graduate school days as a middle-aged, Protestant wildcard at Weston Jesuit School of Theology. After considering a theological problem, turnings of her heart, divine guidance, and earthly unbinding, she discusses images of God, God's actions, and dwelling in God not as dogma but as reflections in prose, poetry, and prayer.

I am an artist and writer of poetry and prose. I serve church and community as Poet Laureate Emeritus of Rockport, Massachusetts where I am a member of the First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ. At about age 17, I published a brief essay about the prodigal son in the church's newsletter. Today, my books of poetry and biblical studies are in church, college, and graduate school libraries. My current interest is theoportics. You can see a video of my presentation about theoportics by visiting the link below or searching: sharon chace Youtube.
