Jean-Claude Zancarini est professeur émérite en études italiennes à l'École normale supérieure de Lyon. Auteur d'une thèse sur l'auteur-acteur vénitien Andrea Calmo (ca 1510-1571), il s'est attaché à la littérature théâtrale du XVIe siècle, avant de se consacrer aux liens entre histoire, langue et politique, et en particulier à la pensée politique florentine à l'époque des guerres d'Italie.
Noémie Recous prépare une thèse en histoire moderne à l'université Jean-Moulin - Lyon III ; elle travaille à la croisée de l'histoire religieuse et de l'histoire des savoirs.
Yves Krumenacker, professeur d'histoire moderne à l'université Jean-Moulin - Lyon III, vice-président de la CIHEC (Commission internationale pour l'histoire et l'étude du christianisme), est spécialiste d'histoire du protestantisme aux XVIe-XVIIIe siècles, sur lequel il a publié de nombreux ouvrages. Il s'intéresse aussi aux questions de méthodologie et au statut de l'histoire religieuse.
