Protocols: An Operating Manual For The Human Body

PRE-ORDER NOW: Simple, essential tools to transform your brain function, mood, focus and bodily health – the must-read first book from Stanford neuroscientist and creator of Huberman Lab, Dr Andrew Huberman.

In Protocols, Dr Andrew Huberman introduces simple, science-based practices that can substantially improve your day-to-day mental and physical state. They work the first time, and every time.

Huberman's protocols can help you unlock your brain and body’s full potential across seven areas: sleep; exercise; stress control; nutrition; light; focus, motivation and neuroplasticity; and personal growth. For example, a simple sleep protocol includes viewing sunlight as soon as possible after waking; a stress protocol involves doing a single breath pattern, once.

In his clear and engaging style, Dr Huberman explains the science behind each protocol, then shows how they can deliver immediate, effective results. What’s more, he described how to customise them, allowing you to adapt them to your individual needs.

Drawing on decades of research – from Dr Huberman’s own work and those of the many experts he has interviewed over the years – he delivers a comprehensive and indispensable guide to help you improve your mental health, physical health, and performance.

This book will transform your life.
