Mrs. Brown uses Scripture from other books of the Bible to illustrate the conduct of biblical characters and the beneficial or detrimental outcomes of their actions. She also shares personal stories in order to show the reader the importance of heeding God's wisdom today. This Bible study has questions and answers that accompany each chapter.

About the Author

Kay Thompson Brown is a lay student of the Bible. Her writing style is abundantly informative for mature Christians but also straightforward enough to attract curious unbelievers so that they might learn about God’s wisdom and stories from the Bible. She graduated from Auburn University with a BA in Spanish and a master of Hispanic studies.

She married Davey Brown while at the university. After college they moved to Vidalia, Georgia, where she taught Spanish at the high school. They were members of the First Baptist Church of Vidalia, and Kay was a substitute teacher for the Sunday school. She was a charter member of the Pilot Club of Vidalia and was a member of the Vidalia Recreation Board. After she and her husband moved to Dublin, Georgia, she taught Spanish at Trinity Christian School and at Middle Georgia College at the Dublin Center. They became members of the First Baptist Church of Dublin, and Kay again began teaching Sunday school classes. She was a member of the Dublin Service League for ten years. She and Davey have two children and five grandchildren with one on the way. Kay is a dog lover and has a miniature apricot poodle who sits with her while she writes.
