Small 12mo, pp viii, 317, [23], with 8 pages of engraved hymn tunes, lacking the initial licence leaf, bound in contemporary calf, neatly rebacked with original spine laid down, title page slightly browned and cut down, else a sound if well used copy, EARLY RIVINGTON EDITION, of course, one of many from the early 18th Century onwards of this most popular of the 18th century non-conformist hymn books. Although supplied tunes were usual in these pocket versions, the choice of which ones would vary throughout the century.
