Measuring 2 ¼ in. x 3 ¾ in. Two volumes in one: first the Psalms, 322 pp.; then Hymns and Spiritual Songs, 282 pp. An extra signature (pp. 47-62) is bound into the Hymns, but the text is complete. Black leather with the name "Watts" in gilt on the spine. On the front panel is a strip of brown leather with gilt borders and in gilt the name "Louise Gage;" but the gilt is almost all worn off. On the f.f.e.p. in ink is written: "Louise G. Purdy Lowell, Ms." (?) Some staining and brown-spotting throughout, including a large damp stain at the beginning of the Psalms, which decreases thereafter. Wear to the corners, edges, and hinges.
