Psalms - Praying for Inner Peace: Finding Rest For Our Souls in David's Psalms

I waited patiently for the Lord; He inclined to me and heard my cry...

He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.

Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord.

Psalm 40:1 & 3 ESV

Many of the Psalms are David's prayers. David, Israel's greatest human king and a man after God's heart, experienced the full range of emotions from a sense of hopelessness to the abiding peace of God's presence.

David found that prayer brings:

Peace with God and the peace of God

Praise for God's presence and provision

Purpose in this life and the

Promise of eternity

Don't you seek the same peace, praise, purpose and promise?

Join us as we transform David's prayers into our own, expressing our deepest needs, joys and frustrations to the One who truly cares.
