M. Catherine Bushnell, PhD, is Director of the Alan Edwards Centre for Research on Pain at McGill University in Montréal, Québec, Canada, where she also serves as Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry and as Harold Griffith Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology.
