Psychology, Normal and Abnormal: A Study of the Processes of Nature, From the Inner Aspect (Classic Reprint)

Explore how memory, imagination, and inner forces shape our thoughts and actions. This edition examines how images arise, persist, and fade, and how energy, rhythm, and polarity govern our mental life.

The text blends psychology with philosophy to explain how impressions become memories, how imagination interacts with recall, and how the mind uses energy to shape experience. It presents a theory of the “Unit of Force” that underpins how we act, decide, and influence the world around us. Expect clear definitions, practical ideas for understanding behavior, and a structured look at the inner processes behind everyday thought.

• How memory and imagination are linked as specialized forms of imagery

• How energy, rhythm, and polarity influence what we remember and forget

• Ways the mind consolidates experiences, assigns perspective, and predicts the future

• Concepts you can apply to better understand behavior and decision making

Ideal for readers curious about the inner workings of mind and behavior, and for those studying early 20th‑century approaches to psychology.
