Assumed first edition. Pages are unmarked except for front end page which has a notation at the top stating it is the property of [original owner] and was purchased about New Years 1888. Front and back hinge papers have been replaced. Brown cloth cover over boards. Embossed design on the front and back with lettering on the spine. Wear is primarily on two corners where the boards are exposed.
