Public Exposure: The Joys and Challenges of Broadcasting - and Life!

Mary's fascinating life in public broadcasting did not begin auspiciously, but led to years of success in creating The Ohio State University's 24-hour FM station, Classical 89.7. Along with broadcast concerns and her own time on the air, Mary was fortunate to have captured interviews with famous musical celebrities (Luciano Pavarotti, Itzhak Perlman, Maria Callas, Vladimir Horowitz, Louis Armstrong, Baroness Maria von Trapp and many others). She depicts her life, from her birth in 1927 to her present age of 98, as well as the lives of her three children. The shocking and humorous shenanigans at work and personal triumphs and tragedies weave a compelling tale.
