Drawing on two decades of original research conducted by the authors, as well as existing research about the intersection of public policy, political discourse, and public libraries, this book seeks to understand the origins and implications of the current standing of public libraries in public policy and political discourse. About the Author: Paul T. Jaeger, PhD, is a Professor and Distinguished Scholar-Teacher at the College of Information and Director of the Museum Scholarship and Material Culture graduate program at the University of Maryland, USA. He is the Co-Chair of IDGS, co-Executive Editor of Including Disability, co-Editor of Library Quarterly, and Associate Director of the Maryland Initiative for Digital Accessibility. He founded the Conference on Inclusion and Diversity in Library and Information Science.
