Gregg Okesson (PhD, University of Leeds) is provost and chief academic officer of Denver Seminary in Littleton, Colorado. He previously served as professor of leadership, provost, and dean of the E. Stanley Jones School of World Mission and Evangelism at Asbury Theological Seminary, and prior to that was deputy vice chancellor for academic affairs at Scott Christian University, Kenya. His engagement with global Christianity is grounded in 13 years as a church planter and seminary leader in Tanzania and Kenya, and continued involvement in Africa, Ukraine, and Estonia, among other places. Okesson is the author of the award-winning A Public Missiology and the coauthor of Advocating for Justice.
