About the Author

Mark Nixon is a lecturer in English at the University of Reading, where he is also the director of the Beckett International Foundation. He is the author of numerous articles and books on Samuel Beckett and was the editor of Samuel Beckett: Texts for Nothing and other Shorter Prose, 1950 –1976. He is also an editor of the Journal of Beckett Studies and Samuel Beckett Today / Aujourd’hui.
