Puck of Pook's Hill (illustrated by Arthur Rackham)

See photos for condition details. Hardcover, green cloth boards decorated with stamped illustration of a Viking ship on front and spine along with gilt text. Exterior shows edge and corner bumps/wear, spine edges are frayed, rear board has a crease and hard spot which was likely caused by glue buildup. The internal binding has some issues: the rear hinge is cracked and the front hinge has a small tear at measures less than an inch at the top. Hinge is cracked at the half title page in the title page itself is only attached at the top and bottom of the page with the center area having a gap. There is also some webbing showing at page 198/199 but remaining pages appear secure. Front end page has a very light inscription, too faint to read. This page also has a light pencil price in the corner, rear pastedown also has something penciled in the corner. This is the edition that is illustrated by Arthur Rackham, frontispiece still has tissue guard present and the four illustrations by the artist have been accounted for.
