About the Author
Kurt Hunter is a puppeteer with more than 20 years of experience as a craftsman, designer, director, performer, and educator. In addition to his full-time work as an electrical engineer, his work as a puppeteer with his company, The Hunter Marionettes, has ranged from television commercials to commissioned work with chamber orchestras. As active members of Spirit of Hope United Methodist Church in Golden Valley, Minnesota, Kurt and his wife Kathy have had many opportunities to bring the art of puppetry to the life of their church. In 1996, they developed their churchs Sunday school puppetry program, which they continue to expand and support.
